I started a re-read of the series early Summer of last year with a promise that I'd buy myself The Gathering Storm for Christmas.

 

Well, it has taken me until now to finish each book in detail.  I promised myself I'd read every last word before I started TGS.

 

I pick up my copy of TGS tonight, and I'm finally getting to read it.

If you're looking for a long read, you're going to be disappointed. The book is so good you'll be done with it tomorrow and wishing you took your time!
