Aiel Information Thread

On 11 September 2010 Dragonmount moved to it's new location at DM8.0. The FL Staff decided that this was the best time to update the Aiel boards and start with a clean slate. The older threads are not lost, they are archived and not available to the public anymore. This is done to avoid confusion with the brand new system that is replacing the older one(s).

Over the years, many Aiel Leaders have worked very hard on the workings of this Guild and each of them has left their mark on it. Different captains use different methods, however, so it all became a bit of a mixed soup after a while which became harder and harder for the leaders to untangle. With the new system, the FL Staff hopes to give both it's Aiel members and Staff a clean, clear and consistent framework in which to operate and roleplay. Whatever could be used from the old system has been recycled into the new, so that we don't lose our link to our hard working predecessors. There's no use in re-inventing the Wheel, after all.

At the time of writing this post, I am still up to my ears in revising all the Guilds in the Freelanders Group. This is a humongous job, to say the least, and I'm counting on your understanding and patience while the construction work is still ongoing. I am creating a website for the Freelanders, including the Aiel, which should provide our members with everything they need to RP with us. The site is not anywhere near ready, nor are the various other aspects necessary in this new system (like much needed staff, for instance) but the contents for the Aiel is finished.

Stick to the left side menu for Aiel related information and if you have any questions, create a thread here on the Aiel board and I'll try to get to it as soon as possible.

Should you venture off to pages that don't have a link to the Aiel site back, the link 'Freelanders Homepage' will give you access to the Aiel site again.

Remember: the site is still very much under construction, so keep that in mind when you use it.
