Really catchy tune. But OMG, FANTASTIC video; one of the best I've seen in long time. I must know who is responsible for this vid!

I've never heard this version....very cool - I like it better than the original (though it's got that cool edge to it).

I just finished writing alternate lyrics to the Highwayman (called the Asha'man) by Johnny Cash, so that's spinning around my head.

I was an Asha'manTarmon Gai'don on my mindPain in the Ais Sedai

The Avett Brothers are the most productive, gifted thing I've seen happen in the music industry in quite a long time.  Each time I hear something it deepens this belief.  Thye just keep pushing stuff out, and it doesn't have the weak spots lyrically that someone like a Ben Harper can run into (who always makes up for it with pure heart)

Here's something new from Avett (Harmonies that take up residence in your heart):

Since I just finished making it, this is what I'm listening to.  I supposed it's spam, but since it's Tarmon Gai'don and all (and it's about Tarmon Gai'don), I figured....well let's break the seals:

Oh Nya, so much win. Yay for Richard Armitage singing!! Never thought it'd happen...also, amazing song right there, turns into the adventure dwarf theme in the rest of the film, it keeps turning up whenever they do something heroic, in different forms, I loved it.

Cooling of the Embers-Missy Higgins

Woohoo!!

Ok, so I was up until midnight watching the first three episodes, Nya. I set out to watch one. And then it turned into two before I left DM...and then I just watched the third one...

So I say we're even.

Yay for the Hobbit!!!!

XD

I'm listening to Sweet Arms of a Tune by Missy Higgins.
