I'm not real sure exactly what I was expecting to find....

Maybe some kind of rambling insanity, as is customary here in the BT.

Gah!!

I has been tricked into posting!

You dastardly bastards yous!!

*shakes fist in rage... and BALEFIRE!!!!*

How could I have been so remiss?

*hands Tal a box of chocolate*

Things have been alright for the most part. Just got back from a nice 2 week vacation, so I am playing catch up before heading down to Miami next week for a conference.

Went up to the cottage for a few days, but the weather didn't want to cooperate with me...

Ended up driving around up north for a good while with my old man. Took a trip down memory lane with him and where he grew up. Visited some graves, my grandfather's my uncle's and my dad's best friend growing up. Died in a car accident when he was 17, and my dad hadn't been up that way in like 30 years.

And tricking me is no small feat. You should feel proud of that :P

Hmm...I don't remember what you peoples have said and since I can't see it from this screen, I'm going to talk about chicken.

He's been doing good for a while now. It'll be a year since his heart attack on the 22nd of September. Still has a ways to go as far as recovery though. His chest still bothers him, but that is more from having had his rib cage split open when they did the bypass surgeries. Can take like 2 years to fuse back together and heal fully apparently.

He's been up and about for the better part of like 9 months now though, we just don't really let him do anything lol

He can't lift anything heavy still, since it hurts his chest. Gotta keep an eye on him because he likes to think he is still 25 instead of 55 and will try doing stupid things without supervision!

Isn't that true of all the elderly though? haha. It seems to me they all start thinking they are 25 the older they get.

You are also a wellspring of insanity though!

I'll take that as a compiment!

Since this was started by Locke with

The Triple Dot Deluxe...

How about a triple pun?

A cattle rancher was deciding to what to name his ranch when he died and left it to his boys. He settled on "Focus". Because:

That's where the sun's (sons) rays (raise) meet (meat).

>.<

Oh gosh!
