I am a 20 year old male nursing student, who loves to read or listen to great stories. I am an avid consumer of ideas, fiction, and lore. Im extremely multifaceted and can enjoy most any genre of "thing" but I am particular on quality. That being said, I watch anime, read manga, read fictional literature, watch BBC, and play PS3. I am also a thesbian (particularly musicals), a hiker, an Eagle Scout, a ballroom dance and etiquette instructor, and a mixed martial arts fan. I enjoy the arts from the fine to the low. I am also a White Wolf RPG player, in particular Exalted and Hunter: The Vigil, but would love to play Changeling or Werewolf. Im told my external personality is much like Perrin's...

Now I got started into Wheel of Time several years ago. My brother was inspired to read it by someone at theatre, so he got it from the library. He soon became discouraged with the first book because it was "difficult to read due to the level of detail." This piqued my interest and I took up the book and was immediately consumed with a raging fire to read the whole series. For the next year the books were my best friends, always with me, even in class sometimes. I finished to the Knife of Dreams and started over, learning new things as I went. Then I found the books on tape/CD. They are amazing if you havent tried them. I began listening to them while playing World of Warcraft and Oblivion (I was a shut in for about 3 months). By listening instead of reading I gained a new angle on the story and discovered how deep the forshadowing and planning went in the story. Now these tapes keep me company and keep me sane on my 30 minute lunch breaks from my job at the hospital. Quite enjoyable.
