First of all let me apologise in advance for causing anybody to wince over my grammar and punctuations, these I've got to say aren't my strong points in fact my ways of dealing with such is to throw something at the page and hopefully whatever lands doesn't look to out of place. Sadly for some reason this doesn't always work!

 

After several years of what i guess could only be called some serious lurking, which in turn has led me at times to yanking at my hair in disgust and shouting at my screen over peoples need to re'read the books to other times where I've felt a complete moron for missing something obvious (still cant believe i missed the connection concerning Rands new sword!) Ive finally decided to take the plunge and come on board, something Ive been meaning to do for several years but being the complete technophobe that i am have always managed to chicken out of doing so.

 

Not sure i like to think how long I've been reading these books, I was a teenager when i first picked up this series, now... well lets just say I started on the series just as the Dragon Reborn came out in paperback so not as long as some but still a scary amount of years.

 

Just like to say this was the first site i ever visited on the Internet, and have always enjoyed coming back whenever Ive been away.

P.s I was concerned when i first heard that Brandon Sanderson was going to finish the story as having never read any of his books i was unaware of what to expect, so i bought the gathering storm with some trepidation, which I'm glad to say soon dispersed as soon as i started reading, all i can say is it can only have been an inspired choice by Harriet to have him finish the books.
