Want to post this before I read further (and because I can't read further atm).

 

Aviendha's future viewings...prophecy or possibility?

 

My take on them is that they were the future until Avi sees them. I think the obvious plotline now is for her to be the one to come up with a viable plan for the Aiel after the LB; and I really have no clue what she could do. I guess my hope would be that they return to the Aiel ways during the AoL but I view that as highly unlikely. Which brings me back to my original question, is there any *viable* solution to prevent this viewed future? I don't think Rand simply including the Aiel in his peace contract would be it, the inevitable clash between the Seanchan and Aiel would still happen.

 

The really interesting bit of this is the Seanchan. I feel like speculating on their role is pointless until we see how (if?) Rand and Tuon work things out. However, I did think it was very interesting that they still used damane in the viewing. Which makes me almost sure that this viewing is merely a possibility...the sul'dam scandal has to work, right?

I hope it's a possibility. I would be very sad if the Seanchan took over.
