Hi there, everybody.

 

My name is Matthías Páll Gissurarson, and I finally decided to join the forums. I read WoT for the first time about 5 years ago and loved it! But, as Iceland is a small country, it wasn't until last year that I really met someone else that had read the WoT cycle (most people that I talked to about it gave up aroun LoC). In anticipation of the ToM, I started looking around for a Synopsis of the books, and so it was that I found the WoTFAQ, first in the old location, and then at it's current place here on DM. This was maybe not THE beginning, but it was A beginning. I love the theories that have sprung up about things I often wondered about myself, and love reading them. That is why I decided to join, so I could partake in the discussion.

I read alot, mostly fantasy and science fiction, and I pity the fools that do not read.
