Back to the Wheel of Time

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I first read the Wheel of Time series fifteen years ago at the age of 14. I read until Winters Heart and after that, it just took too long between the release of each book so I left it alone. A few weeks ago I just found out that Robert Jordan passed away (I knew he had cancer but the last piece of news I heard was that he thought he'd be alive for several years yet - yes, I'm that behind, may RJ RIP) so that made me pick up The Eye of the World again (that and the lack of quality fantasy literature since the LOTR movie). I wanted to read the books after Winters Heart but I found that I couldn't really remember much of the storyline and I wanted to appreciate the story before reading the continuing books in the series. So I am now up to Lord of Chaos ....

Looking forward to discussing this fabulous series with all of you!

Nice to meet you Em and welcome to DM! I'm Froggy and I started reading the series a few years ago in 8th grade. I am now a senior in high school, hope you like it in our online family!
