Hello there. I'm Jim Burnell.

 

I've never really been good at coming up with nicknames or anything, so I'm just sticking with my real name.

 

I started reading the Wheel of Time in 2006, as I was preparing to move to Dallas, TX, based on the urging of my friend Jay Barr, who used to be pretty active on the RJ usenet group as well as WoTmania.

 

I got hooked immediately.

 

When Facebook created "Fan Pages", I was the first to create a Wheel of Time Fan Page. Since then I've pulled Jason Denzel, Theresa Gray, Jen Hill (of Tor Books), Matt Hatch, and Luckers in as admins, but I still probably check in on it most frequently. Anyway, I've been a little hesitant to jump into the online forums/discussion fray so late in the game, partially because I'm a relative n00b and partially because I've got a few other obsessions that take up too much of time already (anyone heard of drum and bugle corps), but what the heck, I'll give it a shot.
