So, I'm in Lansing,MI and a friend of mine completely flaked out and stopped reading our community's favorite topic. Yes, what a douche. but at least he's reading George RR now, so all is not lost, hahaha. Just wondering if there were any fans in the greater east lansing area that I could talk to, w/o a computer as a medium. I'm not trying to solicit new friends or creeping on anyone, just looking for a peep in the area to chat with. My buddy lasted thru 10 books, but he's a quitter. If this is a 'faux pas' for asking on this site, then maybe Luckers or someone else can direct me to a site where locals can meet up to chat. I mean no disrespect, just looking for an argument over beer instead of a keyboard....and beer.

Under the social community section of the website there is a General Discussion forum and there you will find the meets and conventions sub section. There you can post a topic for your area for anyone who is interested in getting together for discussions.
