I have one question I wonder if anyone can answer. I keep seeing references to "Hoid"?? Who is that? Is it some crazy abbreviation I'm just not getting? Anyway, glad to be here.

Hoid is a character from Brandon Sanderson's "The Way of Kings" a book which I recommend reading. Hoid is a mysterious fellow, hence the references to questions like "Who killed Asmodean?" and so on.
