I'm new to this series. I started reading the WoT about a year ago. A very good friend in my roleplaying group recommended it to me. I'm glad he did. I flew through the first five books, then took a break from reading for several months. I'm not sure why, I didn't find LoC to drag as I've heard, just got too busy or distracted I suppose. I got my father into the series, he's about to start working on ToM in the next day or so. I'm currently on aCoS, and can't wait to see what happens next. A note, I read some spoilers early on-and even knowing that x event would happen, the experience wasn't ruined for me in the least. There are few books that I could say that for.
