I don't think it'll affect the TOWERS OF MIDNIGHT eBook release, but I'd be curious to know if it affects their plans for the A MEMORY OF LIGHT release in 2012. Wouldn't it be nice to dominate two lists in one week?

Nice, but most books come out in both paper and electronic format. So, what, will they keep the lists separate? What purpose does that serve?

gargle urgh ahh..frazzle rotten shizzle &*%@#^

I caved and bought the hardcover today. I wouldn't have been able to make it until January 31 anyway. I could not stop debating in my mind, "Get the hardcover? Wait until the ebook?" I just finished the Mistborn trilogy that I bought hoping to distract myself. Nope. Slurped that up in a week. It was going to distract me until I just bought it and read the damn thing. At least I held out past the first week. I hope this makes a difference for future books, however.

I hope this allows us to dominate in 2012. But it's a move in the right direction whether people like it or not e-books are here to stay, more so with the mass sales of Amazon's Kindle this year. I want to know though is ToM a full international release or US only. There doesn't seem to be anything saying what it is.
