Hello people!

I'm a very...and I mean VERY recent fan of the Wheel of Time series. Its probably been less than 2 months since I discovered the series.

And boy did it made me loose my sleep during that time!

I'd finished TGS barely a few days ago. And ToM came out just a few days later. Safe to say I'm on a roll here. Though I'm a planning a detailed re-reading later on!

Anyways, I just finished ToM today and finally had to come to a place to discuss all that hapenned...so here I am.

Hoping to have a nice time here at Dragonmount.

The he thing that made me really enjoy Peter Jackson’s LOTR was that despite the departures from the books the story was told in the same tone as the novels and so it still felt like LOTR Same went for Game of Thrones, the books had a darker tone and thus so did the show so it felt like the same world and the same story. WOT by contrast just does not have the same tone as the books. It feels like they are trying to tell the story of WOT in the tone of GOT and it just feels off
