I've been a fan of the WoT series for very long time. I've started to read the series around 1996 - and I immediately was hooked, and re-read the series dozens of times ever since.

I'm usually not one who registers to sites and forums, but I decided that I'll give it a try, especially since I have some questions that I really want answers to.

The he thing that made me really enjoy Peter Jackson’s LOTR was that despite the departures from the books the story was told in the same tone as the novels and so it still felt like LOTR Same went for Game of Thrones, the books had a darker tone and thus so did the show so it felt like the same world and the same story. WOT by contrast just does not have the same tone as the books. It feels like they are trying to tell the story of WOT in the tone of GOT and it just feels off
