does anyone know of an online roleplay based in a 'high fantasy' world, with elves and dwarves, wizards, dragons and such? it doesn't have to be set in a particular world or from a specific book. please let me know!

What, apart from World of WarCraft? EverQuest 2 and Dungeons and Dragons: Stormreach are the main ones that comes to mind.

I found this while searching for town maps and stuff for role play. It's based off never winternights.
