Warder Bond : Could it apply to Aes Sedai?

Featured Replies

Hey everryone,

I remember someone in the books saying that the Warder bond allows the bonded men to keep fighting past when normal men would stop from exhaustion. If this is true, then what would stop an Aes Sedai from bonding another Aes Sedai, thus giving them more stamina to use more of the One Power?

Nothing really. Just arrogance. No Aes Sedai would allow anyone to bond her willingly. The Warder bond represents some control over the bondee in alot of cases. Aes Sedai would never allow themselves to be disgraced such.

Could Aes Sedai bond with their horses to give them more stamina? :bela:

Yes, it is possible. They can also bond Shadowspawn.

However, RJ has said that in case of Shadowsapwn, you would go insane feelingt the emotions of a Myrddraal.

I would say it owuld be, to a lesser extent, similar with a horse. Their minds are so foriegn that you would have serious trouble holding that kind of bond.

Because it wouldn't be needed. Aes Sedai can draw strength from their warder if they have need of strength--including that extra stamina.
