I was thinking more along the lines of tiny strands of balefire directed at the parts of my throat that hurt....

*carefully weaves the tiniest strands of balefire at the virulence and bacteriology infecting paets throat so that they never existed to torment him; repeats as necessary*

I'm thinking a few shots of cheap whiskey to get that nice burn might help.

a few probably would. i messed up on new years and did half a bottle, and that just about killed me.

but you know what you;re about i'm sure.

*serves shots of JD. for the burn*

I once got a mouthful of gasoline when I was siphoning a tank. It was a weird experience. I didn't swallow any but the sensation was odd. It dried my mouth out but left it with the taste of what gas smells like.

The bad news is all I have is good whiskey.

maybe a liquor store on the way to the doctor?

though... good whiskey is good...

Yeah I don't think the wife will go for that stop.

once i was sick sick, i just dropped some of the honey into tea, and it really did help a lot. other than that haven't drunk since the holiday cause i'll just get sick again hard if i do.

immune system's a funny thing.

*considers gasoline*

they used to feed turpentine with sugar for a sore throat. um... please don't.

My grandma use to say a teaspoon of coal oil.

She rubbed some on a bee sting of mine once.

I don't remember if it worked but I'll never forget her doing it!

1977 i think... something like that.... siphoning was always my job. very carcinogenic and very yucky.

turpentine's pretty bad, even with the sugar.

but those flame thrower freaks do it all the time. the gasoline, i mean.

we used coal oil for insects, both for bites and stings and to repel... considering all the open flames at the time... it was quite a medicine.

Matt Lauer can suck it!

They just showed him back in the day when he had hair. Wow.

if you explained it was medicinal?

very sorry.... i'd drink the good stuff then.

matt lauer i don't watch. watching sister wives again. i'm thinking it's better than nothing. and i'm thinking that's the real basis of polygamy. silly women.

I use to drive for a fuel/oil distributor. At the end of the day I was suprised I didn't spotaneously combust. And I'm much to lazy to correct my spelling mistakes today.

i didn't notice any spelling mistakes.

in the olden days we had real gas with lead. and a real gas crisis. and a lot of siphoning was necessary. it was a talent. i do waterbeds, too.

but we'll pay for that in the long run.

I guarantee over 50% of the board is going "gas with lead???"

I have a truck that takes regular. When I worked at the distributor I "borrowed" a gallon of the good additive so I'm covered for a long time.

wow, didn't know you still could. love the smell of leaded gas. better than magic markers.

yeah, it's weird to see "regular" and have it mean unleaded. the world changes too fast.

I'm not sure what to think of the new tv show "The Firm"

I love the lead actor though. I'll have to make a point to watch it Sunday.
