Finished reading "Genetic Principles," and I just want to say I think the name "Balasubramanian" is freaking AWESOMESAUCE.

Some folks did a study on sex-linked genes, I guess. Balasubramanian, Koontz, & Reynolds, 2008. Referenced after mentioning hemophilia and fragile X syndrome as being X-linked inherited diseases, so they probably studied those things.

Genetics are pretty cool, yeah. I'm not interested enough in doing something with it as a career, but I did like learning about it when I was in high school. I think I was especially fascinated by phenomes and stuff.
