I'm even getting closer to not getting disappointed anymore when nothing happens.

Uh, I'm learning how to avoid being majorly disappointed when the things I hope for don't happen.

Where I get my hopes up every time even though it is more likely than not that it's pointless.

But rather than tying "hope" with "expectation," I'm learning to just be hopeful and not expectant.

That way, if/when things I want don't happen, I can just accept it and move right on without getting all depressed.

So it's easier to distract myself or shove it aside or let it go and stop feeling bad about it.
