It's my textbook for my Child Psychology class.

It's not actually that heavy, though. Like, here's the first paragraph of the Adoption section:

"Although surgery and fertility drugs can sometimes solve the infertility problem, another choice is to adopt a child (Bernard & Dozier, 2008; Cohen & others, 2008). Adoption is the social and legal process by which a parent-child relationship is established between persons unrelated at birth. As we see next in the Diversity in Children's Development interlude, an increase in diversity has characterized the adoption of children in the United States in recent years."

I'm not sure I understand the question. >.> This is the only thing I have to read for this class.

Finished the "Adoption" section (was distracted; it wasn't actually that long XD), now reading the Caring for Children interlude on strategies for parenting adopted children.

Finished...on to Learning Goal 4 for this chapter... "How do heredity and environment interact? The nature-nurture debate."

I might be able to skim this. I'm pretty familiar with the issue. XD

Sidetracked again. XD Need to focus. XD Done with Behavior Genetics, on to "Heredity-Environment Correlations".

Done with "Heredity-Environment Correlations" and now reading "Shared and Nonshared Environmental Experiences".

Done with that section, now onto "The Epigenetic View and Gene x Environment (G x E) Interaction".

Done with G x E, reading "Conclusions about Heredity-Environment Interaction".
