This is how I feel! And my mom always thinks I'm crazy when I reread books. The only reason I ever purchase a book is that I want to reread it a lot.

Well, of course it's not ALWAYS true. That's just how it seems to me.

 

Granted, I'm either sleeping or at work when all the people across the pond are awake, for the most part, and lately it feels like there are only a few people who post here with any dependability, most of whom are from the "across the pond" category. XD

So maybe my timing's just very bad.

Oh, and for me personally, I usually don't engage in conversations in this thread anymore unless the subject matter is very compelling or else I know that the other party will actually respond. Cos there's been plenty of someone saying something, someone else responding, and then...nothing. XD So I just like to make sure that I'm not getting into conversation mode for nothing. Cos it is a "mode" for me. XD

Well, for the most part, it's great. There are a FEW things that I could complain about (and I'm sure I do, often XD), but the job itself is pretty awesome.

If I could eat with more regularity and actually get a break on my full days, and if we could hire just one more worker, I wouldn't have anything to complain about, really. Cos kids being brats is just part of the job description. XD

I work in a daycare. And I'm teaching the preschool kids, too. There are 4 of them most days, and 6 other times.

Yes, actually.

The daycare itself isn't the nicest establishment in the world, but it's competing with two other bigger daycare centers in the town plus at least 5 other in-home daycares, so the people who run it are doing the best they can. XD

 

But I do like daycare. Much as it can be kind of annoying, with kids that fight ALL the time or kids who have lice, or kids whose parents never work with you on anything....I love kids, and I love working with them.

And...bummer, gotta go. Maybe for the night, though I really really hope not. XD Someone coming over to hang out before a class tonight, then the class, then bed... At least I don't open at 5 tomorrow. It's a 6:30 day.
