I just had a really excellent molasses cookie that one of my coworkers brought to the office today, with a glass of ice cold milk. It was delicious. *rubs belly*

And WHY THE HELL AM I STILL AWAKE? /hate self

Someone at work asked me yesterday if I'd trade shifts with her, so I don't have to work until a quarter to 8 this morning.

But sleeping in messes me up, so I figured I'd get up at the normal time, and just exercise instead.

The PLAN was to use my elliptical trainer (I got it for sale on Amazon for $250 over a year ago), since it's been quite a while.

A few months ago or something like that, someone (probably my mom or dad) went to that area of the basement and organized all the power cords lying around. There were old computer monitors and keyboards and even some computer towers and mouses and stuff in that corner, so there were plenty of computer-related cords.

So last time I wanted to use my elliptical I only looked for about a minute for the elliptical's adapter, and gave up.

This time, I figured it had to be there somewhere. So I looked. And looked. And pulled out every single wrapped up power cord to see if it was my adapter, or if it was hiding my adapter somewhere.

Because if it's not downstairs, then I have a pretty good idea of what happened to it.

And that means that I'm going to have to try to buy a new cord, because I'm never getting the original back.

I can't afford to keep buying new things, though! I'm saving to go to the UK in the fall, and what happens? Everything starts breaking, or getting lost.

I normally don't have time to turn my route to work into an exercise route that is twice as long as what it has to be.

I'm usually way too tired after work to make the route home longer than it has to be.

Can't just exercise in the living room cos the downstairs one has no space for that and the upstairs one usually has people in it, or else they're all sleeping.
