It's... more romantic, less .... hormonal. Plus I love the emotion Alejandro puts into his covers. There's some great ones in their playlist.

I shall have to check out more of their covers later.

 

I stayed up far too late reading last night. I really paid for that at work today.

I got tired early, but hadn't finished vacuuming or making my bed yet. Kind of puts a damper on going to bed when there are no sheets on it.

 

Then I kept obsessively checking the Mistborn game thread.

 

Then I finally gave up and went to bed, but for some stupid reason felt the need to play a game of Sudoku on my cell phone while lying in bed in the dark.

 

Woke up at 5:30 and couldn't get back to sleep even though I had another hour before I needed to be up, so I made a pot of coffee and caught up on FB, Twitter, Pinterest, and this site.

It was close to 2 am when I made myself put the book down. Then the electric blanket shut off around 6 and I woke up freezing. Couldn't fall back asleep after that.

 

Today was so intense at work. My boss is going on vacation overseas for two weeks. He leaves on Friday. We are also moving one of the marketing offices into our new building. So I'm juggling taking care of everything he needs, new building stuff and normal work. I just can't wait for Friday.

I totally get that! Workin' for the weekend!
