I miss Florida for the weather and beach.

Kae, you should live in Phoenix, you'd get away with a bikini top and shorts for at least 6 months of the year. Although for about 3 months of that you wouldn't actually want to be outside for any length of time for fear of heatstroke.

I would like to live somewhere warmer...but I don't wanna live where there are rattlers/scorpions/tarantulas either....

My first apartment complex had scorpions :shudder:

 

But generally the critters stay toward the newer housing developments or where they've built a golf course on an old landfill or something. Since I moved out of that complex I haven't seen anything of the sort, or any poisonous or freaky spiders or snakes.

All spiders are freaky. Though I don't see much of them either. Not even camping...more bees than anything there.

We have a bad problem with brown recluse spiders or "fiddlebacks" at my house. They look like small versions of the spiders

from the movie Arachnophobia with John Goodman. We have small red scorpians too. They take out the spiders so it's the

circle of life I guess. :P

Spiders and scorpions eh? Maybe living in cold and rainy Scotland isn't so bad
