I realise it was stupid, hindsight is 20/20 after all (we didn't even win), in fairness I am advising her against it

all true, how did you hurt your ankle in the first place?

I thought you thought I was advising her to do it...

Playing in a 5 a side tournament, the semis and final are played on the same night, got absolutely crunched by an idiot at the end of the semi, played in final anyway, very sore for a couple of weeks afterward

no I was telling you that continuing to play wasn't the best decision, but in the circumstances I can see why

and what do you think about homeopathics

Well maybe I shouldn't have said 'unfortunately', because I do thing homeopathics is the way to go. I had an iodine deficiency and we made it go awaycompletely with homeopathics and eating kelp all the time (seaweed is my least fav food in the world )

It took two years, but my body has learnt to extract enough iodine from food sources by itself now, whereas if I'd taken the pills I would still be taking them, be dependent on them as they would have only fed my body the iodine and not help it do it itself :)

you're body 'learnt' to do something that it couldn't do before because you ate special things. I am doubtful. But I do agree that pills wouldn't have 'taught' your body anything either, actually it might have made a dependency.

Ah right, sorry. It would have been totally worth it if we'd won the final though, we were massive underdogs and we were so close. It was a long time ago and there was no lasting damage so it was alright

Similar to that tunnel thing above, have you seen the photo of the sand dunes that look like the sky? Seriously awesome, even though my description doesn't make it seem so

Can't post a picture because I'm on my phone, but here's a link (the Daily Mail's an awful paper but this is all I could find)
