I had squash, rice, and mushrooms for supper. And onions. We have a freezer with steak.

Come to think of it, I need to go grocery shopping myself. I went to the store last night specifically for cat food, but didn't want to take the time to buy actual food for me. I was also hungry at the time, so I would have ended up buying a whole lot of stuff just because it sounded good at the moment... and then when I got home I'd have had a really hard time figuring out what to have.

I like cheese curds over fries smothered with brown gravy! Oh Yeah!

Poutine? Have you gone Canadian on us?

 

(Never tried, although I like all the ingredients separately, so I'm pretty sure I'd be quite happy with it together.)

Haha! I guess. I just like brown gravy not gray. We have to make a cow last through the summer for 4th of July and other

things. It's almost time for homemade ice cream soon.

If I had actual kitchen space, I'd buy an ice cream maker. As it is, I'd have to store it in the garage and drag it in every time I want to use it, which is why I never unpacked several of the appliances I got as wedding presents 11 years ago.

My Grannie Pansy supplies us with green apples for apple dumplings and we always put the

homemade vanilla ice cream (from the churn) on top of them.

 

I like sopapilla cake too with cream cheese. God, I'm hungry naow!

 

I may have to get the frozen tortelinni in the freezer. :)

i'd be starvin' by now except i just ate dinner.

We'll have wild cherry jelly in June I think.
