I started watching the movie and didn't like it because it was too old for me and I didn't like the way they made the movie so ... dull. And I didn;t like the way they made the shields. I still loved the book though.

I think they said a people in it resemble the Aiel.

Yeah, I can definitely see why people would say that, now I think of any kind of seperate people living in a desert as Aiel knockoffs even though they may not be.
