that's why I asked, saw on some show that once you get to iron you no longer get energy out of fission.

 

but this does men that there are basically different layers of elements formed as stars grow older

I finks so. Less energy to split hydrogen up should equal less to fuse them. And teh heavier elements does need higher pressures and temperatures to be produced...

Yesh, cos iron is teh most stable as it takes most energy to split up :)

then why hydrogen bombs not uranium? I'm sure I heard that Hydrogen bombs were more powerful
