Well....there's poisonous snakes everywhere in Aus. Around my parts we have the tiger, the brown snake,copperhead....

There pretty easy to deal with you can even pick em up if you know what your doing.

Pick them up!?

If I ever goes to Australia (which would be fun) then I will stay in the cities. Have you met Louii yet? She lives on a farm somewhere in Australia and she have to bring some sort of weapon when she is outside...

Yep pick em up. All you need is a forked stick and a steady nerve. You pin the head down then grab them behind the jaws.

And weapons? Well can use a shovel, a piece of wire or you can grab the tail and flick em real hard to snap their necks.

*shivers even more just at the thought*

I actually touched a snake this summer but it was in a zoo. The poor snake just where just lying there so everyone could pat it. I think some snakes are really beautiful but...

yeah it is a smart move to stick clear of them. Best bet when in snake territory is to stamp your feet when walking. Snakes will feel it and move off. Walk quietly and surprise them thats when they'll try and strike.

We only have one poisonous snake around here but it´s only deadly if you happen to be allergic to it. I have never been bitten but I have been in some snake accidents and I guess that is the reason for my phobia. My daughter loves snakes and I try not to pass on my fear to her. We go at least one time every year to a zoo where they have a lot of snakes.

I love snakes! I pick up the non poisonous ones. A snake would have had a nice tasty dinner with that mouse. I used to work at a video rental store and some customers would take in their ball python. I used to walk around the store with it draped on me. It was so friendly.

Cardinals vs Rangers should be a good series. Now all we have to do is wrap up the series tonight.
