Blodge cos I've been putting it off cos it's the one that matters least in terms of uni, and STEP papers... *le shudder*

now the problem here is that I can barely read these questions properly so I am a poor judge for their difficulty

Vegetative propagation refers to the production of structures in an organism that can grow into new individual organisms. These offspring contain the same genetic information as the parent so are clones of the parent.

Tissue culture refers to the separation of cells of any tissue type and their growth in a nutrient medium. In plants, the undifferentiated callus tissue is grown in nutrient medium containing plant hormones that stimulate development of the complete plant.

Immobilisation of enzymes refers to any technique where enzyme molecules are held, separated from the reaction mixture. Substrate molecules can bind to the enzyme molecules and the products formed go back into the reaction mixture leaving the enzyme molecules in place.

Electrophoresis is similar to chromatography. Separation of the different lengths of DNA fragments is achieved because, as the negatively charged fragments move towards the positively charged anode, shorter fragments pass through the gel more easily and so move further in a fixed time.
