Four hours is enough for half a day. I hear ppl in accounting only sleep 4 hours a night.

The sun is also being evil and shinning too brightly into my cube.

But yay for double shot espresso mocha grande!

morning. i went to bed early for a change. and look at all i missed. well, ok, not so much. but i always hated going to sleep when anyone in the house was still awake.

yes. yes it is.

thankfully my spvsr has migraines and keeps the blinds shut.

it's 63 degrees in here right now and everyone else is huddled in blankets like a scene from fiddler on the roof... and i couldn't be more comfortable.

other than that. monday morning.

Good morning!

When I'm ready to go to sleep, I go. Even at work....

i didn't feel ready, but i needed the sleep, and i was out pretty quick. i've been getting by on too little. i think i'm all caught up now, tho. should be good for another couple months on 4 a night now. though i don't do accounting. :myrddraal:

4 a night was actually Ok for a stretch. i'd wake up too exhausted to be depressed about going to work. and the day passed quickly without extra thoughts awake enough to trouble me.

but yeah, can't do that forever anymore. used to could. used to stay up all night every other night for years. but... used to could to a lot of things i can't get away with now.

oh, and i'll make it official in reciprocity.

good morning !

i've heard saying it makes it so. we'll see how that goes. :myrddraal:

Crappy morning!!!!

That has a better sound to it. myrddraal.gif

One of the companies I worked for would great each other in a very non pg-13 way. We'd walk down the hall and give each other the single finger salute. It was all in good fun.

Then I went to another company and made the mistake of giving the salute to someone who did find it funny...

we use the ... repetitive wrist motion gesture... because it eases the carpal tunnels and all.

we read dilbert some days and just cry. too real to be funny.

Has everyone seen the Indycar crash yesterday? Dan Wheldon lost his life.

Greetings all! Very sad that Wheldon was killed in that horrific accident. One of the other drivers that had a real bad crash years ago summed it up then. "...It's probably pretty dangerous if you have to wear a helmet and a fire suit to work."

R.I.P. Dan Wheldon.
