I found the Spamathon 2009 thread after all...when I looked through all 58 pages of Fiddlesticks to find the thread where we posted how long we'd been logged into DM... XD

This one is growing a lot faster, I'd say...although I think the rate of growth in the last 2 months of Spamathon 2009 surpassed that of this thread.

But the ending postcount of that thread when it was locked was a bit over 12k.

Its goal when it was started was to be the longest thread on DM.

But...you know how time changes things.

Over the course of the year...some people left DM.

Some people got really busy for a while.

Most of us didn't really post there consistently throughout the entire year, although it was never entirely neglected, having been stickied at the top of the board.

In the end, we decided to try and get it over 10k by the end of the year.
