Immunity occurs when the body acquires a specific response to a micro-organism. Micro-organisms also develop responses to these responses, I wonder how that works for them...

Direct contact transmission - infection spreads by having direct contact with an infected bodily fluids, saliva, mucus etc.

Indirect contact transmission - the disease is spread through contact with objects that have been contaminated. e.g contaminated water carrying cholera/hepatitis. These diseases can also be carried by vectors (like mosquitos in the case of malaria)

Examples of pathogenic organisms for each type of micro-organism:

Virus:

HIV

Influenza

Herpes

Syphillis

Bacteria:

Tuberculosis (Normal, MDR and XDR)

bacterial meningitis

Salmonella

Protist:

Plasmodia (malaria)

amoebal dysentry

Fungi:

Tinea pedis (I think) - athletes foot

ringworm

And I can't go on cos my brother needs to take the wifi router to the shop to get fixed graaaaah :madmyrddraal:

what have you people done to that poor thing?

"Us people"

Nah poorly explained by moi, he had to take the routers SIM to the shop cos he lost it's number which is needed to top up data :P

And all that is generally referred to as "fix the router" by use
