They are very similar, so it is inevitable that they will have similar antigenicity, and elicit a similar immune response.

 

Sure, there will be small differences in the receptors produced by the cells of the immune system in their response, but these will be minor. There will be some overlap in the immunity.

so they're basically close enough as makes no difference? Normal TB drugs will work on the bovis kind and vice versa? I think I meant more like getting Multi Drug resistant or higher, I assume because of the low incidence that there aren't MDR forms of T. bovis
