It's almost 9 pm where I live.

But I suppose it's morning on the other corner of the planet. And it's probably spring, too.

all the birds and the kangaroos out to play in the melting snow

while here, the mists are starting to roll in each evening, shrouding the world in mysterious deepness until late in the morning

It's my favorite time of year.

The silvery mist reminds me of Mistborn, and I always wish I could just drop a coin and Push myself to school.

Or maybe Pull myself to the top of the tallest building of my school.

Perhaps I could use a little pewter to keep myself going during cross country practice

or tin to let me recognize people across campus

Maybe I could use brass to project a bubble of whatever emotion I want. I could radiate peace, or awe, or happiness.

Zinc would let me do the same thing.

Copper wouldn't be much use unless there were other Allomancers at school

Same with bronze

Gold would give me perspective into my current life

and electrum would help me plan for the future

cadmium would help soothe the boredom during a particularly dull history lecture

while bendalloy would lend me extra time during tests

I'm seeing mistborn stuff
