It's probably the same at my uni, but the problem is I live 20 minutes away on the train so it's a hassle to go there all the time

I sees. This year is only a 5/10 minute walk so is good, but next year I have no idea where I will be living...

All freshers can if they want, and there is a small amount of accomodation for other years but most of them live a bit away from uni, although most of it is still uni-owned or uni approved or somefinks...

I suppose I might. the other university around is about the same distance away as UCT but in a different direction to the way we usually go, which my sister will still be going through for a long time since she's only in grade 1. Now if I don't get into that one (Stellenbosch) then I may need to go up country, but I don't think that's very likely to be completely honest
