    A guy I know is doing up an old pub and turning it into a restaurant. Today they were building an extension out the back and I got roped in to help, so half a dozen of us spent the day pushing about wheelbarrows full of concrete and then clearing up 8 tonnes or so of rubble

     

    sounds like a lot of work, you getting a meal at the restaurant when it's done?

    I was looking at something on google maps once (which was definitely in England), yet after a bit of exploring I zoomed out over france, pretty sure I didn't cross a sea anywhere...

    I'd better be :laugh: long way to go yet though, they think it could be open in July
