Big Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow, got guests coming too!! Sounds exciting...

 

 

And then a friend of mine and my brother is cooking for our family on Saturday as a going-away present for my brother, since he leaves on his mission next Wednesday.

Gave up after that.

For the record, I'm not really mad at anyone, just kind of frustrated in general.

 

Anger is a cover-up emotion, and in this case mine was covering for hurt. XD

AH isn't even a shadowie 10 minutes and she's trying to compulse me!

@Paet--Didn't realize that the conversation was over, I guess. Was kind of thinking that the anti-alcohol thing would give an opening for someone to say "oh, why?" or something disbelieving, but not everything goes as planned. XD

Well there isn't much to say about you not drinking or being against drinking. It's a black and white issue. So is religion. So is politics. On a board like this open conversation about those topics usually take away from the open, care free fun that we are all trying to have.

Those topics can be discussed, but in a controlled thread.

@Paet--Oh, I guess I didn't realize it came across as trying to start a serious discussion/whatever. I avoid Debates & Discussions for a reason. I don't see it being too serious to say "Oh, why do you believe that?" "Well, just because of X thing/reason." "Oh, okay, cool." That's usually the kinds of "discussions" I get into.
