Yeah he is taller than I always pictured for a dwarf. The pictures from the Hobbit seem more weird to me.

the hobbits lined up fr the shot of the 9 companions in front of the big people just didn;t work. the 6'1" dwarf... kinda did.

 

love flooding of isengard.

and splat goes an orc siege ladder. I like how they squeal.

he really knows whre to pay attention to detail and where to let it go CGI blah.

Treebeard is just about ready to get pissed off.

that's as important in the books as in the movies. JRR would have loved to see the trees do that.

Yes. I think Jackson did just about everything right with the Ents.

i especially like the way he strung the actors up in them for hours in discomfort. hitch would have loved that
