cortizone is an anti-inflammatory drug.

Cortizone sounds like cortisol.

Cortisol suppresses your immune system.

The point of an anti-inflammatory drug is to suppress your immune system.

aaaah, the left atrium, and then the left ventricle. Some papillary muscles, chordae tendinae, trabeculum carneae, the smooth outlet to the aorta

 

oh yeah, we did a practical on cadaver hearts on Friday

I fink I'd find it slightly surreal, having this thing that kept somebody alive...

 

 

we also did the skull, and a bunch of bones 

it was sorta freaky, just picky up a bag of bones and then there's vertebrae all strung together and different sized radii and ulnas
