I probably read The Eye of the World in about 2000. Got to book 4 and gave up. There were too many names/complicated text for me.

I've always tended to gravitate towards fantasy books/games that have a whole ton of characters and events going on all at once. But I went for a really long stretch where I only read non-fiction, and these days it's nearly impossible to read anything except late at night when the kid goes to bed because I rarely get more than a few minutes to myself without distractions.

 

I usually manage to distract myself just fine :wink:
