It's fun, but you can't outplay it.

When I play something, I wanna be able to be better than the average.

In fact I wanna be the best.

But there's no doing that in Blackjack.

Even if you calculate everything through,

you're still gonna get messed over a lot of the time.

Which is why, if I ever were to enter a casino, poker would be the only thing I'd play.

Poker doesn't mess you over.

Well, not always.

If poker messes you over, it's most of the time your own fault.

And sometimes someone is just trusting his luck too much, but those things happen.

I actually got this poker game on my phone.

My eyes almost rolled out of my head when I saw a Royal Flush.

I also remember this time when there was a 10-Ace straight on the table.

And it was like "LOL split pot".

Poker is fun.

And it has winning strategies.

I enjoy Hold Em too. Much more control.

 

But I usually do pretty well at Blackjack. I'd say I walk away ahead more than 50% of the time.

One of my favorite YouTubers actually compared it to rising in rank at League of Legends.

I still don't know if he was making sense.

As long as you don't count cards in Blackjack (which only a savant can do) the optimal playstyle has a 49.5% win rate.

If you walk away with more than you put in, you're lucky.

It's very well possible with Blackjack.

If you keep playing for long enough, however, you will end up negative.

Except of course if you try cheating in some other way, like doubling every next time.
