Ok, so nothing about this week's episode, which I just watched on NBC.com?

 

Where has Hiro gone? Now he's at her birthday party in the picture... too cool. Will Ando remember him leaving? Or will it all be changed for him?

 

No Niki or Micah. No Nathan or Peter.

 

I think Matt is cool. I hate his wife right now.

 

And what's with the new storyline? Kidnappings? Marks on their necks?? Are they trying to change the story? Is someone tampering with them to give them abilities? If so, that pisses me off. I liked random people developing powers, better. Otherwise how could Chandra Suresh have been hunting them?

 

And also, am I the only one who thinks Mohinder is SMOKING hot?!?!

Oh, Mohinder is totally hot.

 

And I'm just itching for the showdown with Sylar.

Mohinder is SO hot I want to ditch Marshall and move to India.

 

And Matt is so adorable I want to slap his wife and cuddle away his hurt.

 

And Hiro... I can't even POST what I want to do to him.

 

But besides my hormones, any thoughts on the SHOW?

Umm... The show has given our pretty boys many problems to solve while looking pretty?

I thought the last episode was too slow and not enough cheerleader in her outfit.

Not enough cheerleader lying naked on an autopsy table, either.

And why is it the first episode I make Yveva sit through has no Hiro in it....

Dude, that's exactly what I first thought, too! It's the first time I wish I had Tivo, so I could rewind and pause it right when they show his face for that nanosecond.

 

I think it's the hair that gave it away.

 

And now that we thanksfully don't have to listen to three thousand promos whispering "Save the cheerleader! Save the world!" anymore, we can get down to the business of watching Radioactive Man self-destruct.

I tried taking a screenshot again, but his face got kinda dark and blurry.

That would have been way too cool for a network show, anyway. It was a neat guess, though.

it's ok Empy, at least we got to see the cheerleader run around in her skimpy outfit a lot.

Paityr, old news buddy. Posted that 2 weeks ago in this thread. However, this could be trickery to deflect from Peter being the killer. Future Hiro did mention a scar and looked at him as a friend, not a future enemy though....

 

I like how she won with the Geek vote. I remember when I won homecoming queen with the geek vote.... I was so pretty...

Oh my god, so I watched it last night! Geek vote ruled!!!

 

And I knew Peter would absorb her powers and be ok. But now he's under arrest!! And HRG has Sylar. I was sort of shocked that pretty little elf girl (can't remember her name) is SO powerful. He was like, "Take Sylar down." As if, no question she could do it. This guy who's been taking down heroes left and right and just, bring him in. And she did.

 

What do you think scary Haitian guy's powers are? Mindwiping? What else?

Ok there has to be a reason HRG is using Hatian to wipe minds.... so there must be more to the Hatians powers. Now that his daughter is safe, I think HRG's real agenda will be revealed.

 

Why doesn't Elf girl use her powers on HRG? I mean she didn't want to make druggie painter take more drugs, but she did what HRG said.

 

I think the Hatian has the power to take memories and keep them as his own.

 

And so Hiro can't control his time travel yet, going back 6 months and all, but why did he leave before the girl was killed and where did he go if not back to Ando?

My money's on Hiro runs into his future self and he gets "playing with time" explained, and how he would create a temporal collapse if he does save her. And that Ando and Pete need to hang out together and Hiro's needed elsewhere.

 

I mean, different time-path is great.. we're hopefully leading in one away from Nuke-boy blowing up downtown NYC... but might be confusing if Hiro changes to save the girl.. my money on is he can't save her because that is the reason he went back in time anyway.

Should be good. One more day. And no more "save the cheerleader" stuff.

Sooo... last night's episode??? We know who Sylar is... but how does he do it? Did he steal Brian Davis' power?

 

And poor Hiro. I was actually crying... :~(

I think it's pretty clear that Sylar stole that guy's powers, but I'm not exactly sure how he did it... maybe a darker version of Peter's power? After all, Peter is shaping up to be the 'ringleader' of the heroes... it's all literary and stuff for Sylar to be a kind of 'dark reflection' of him.

I thought this episode was one of the best in the last few weeks.

 

Sylar's power is the ability to see how things work and I do not think his power is like Peter's. He doesn't absorb other's powers... he opens the brain and teaches himself how the powers work (note how it is not temporary like Peter).

 

How about Horn Rimmed Glasses...does he have a power as well. Possibly the ability for powers not to affect him?

No I don't think so.. I think it's simply that the Haitian was there, like when the Cop was trying to read his mind or when Suggestion Girl tried the same, that it didn't affect him. Likewise, the Cop was still able to read some of HRG's mind, so that can't be the case.

So is Haitian guy's power like the kid in the latest X-Men movie, where if you get next to him your powers go away?

But that wouldn't make sense, since he was standing right next to Nathan with HRG when he did his dramatic pajama-defying exit a couple weeks ago.

I'd say Haitian has to channel it a bit, like, in the bar when Cop got taken down, the Haitian had time to channel his power using his half-moon necklace.. But when pajama escaped, HRG and Haiti had been running after him and he probably couldn't focus yet.

Previews for next week makes me think we get to see some more of Haitian's bad side and his agenda while Sylar is in custody.. Did he have Claire or Niki? Can't remember now.

 

And why hasn't anyone talked about how Hiro's temporal distortion thing worked. So in Ando's timeline everyone knew Hiro when they walked in and Charlie was happy to see him, yet she still died.. Now Hiro is in that timeline and not his own.. Temporal Hypothetic Situations make one's brain hurt.

That was a cool episode! Hiro will fight a dinosaur, Peter will meet Radioactive Man and go nuclear... Alot of great stuff happened this episode. :D

I still think the Haitian's power is memory wiping and HRG can block powers.

I don't think HRG has any powers at all. The only reason cop guy couldn't read his thoughts is cuz Haitian guy was standing outside the room. Which makes me think it's not really that he needs to focus on an object, more that it takes him a few moments of being calm to be able to suppress another's power.

 

And I totally called Eden's demise last night. Although, I thought Sylar was going to steal her power and become an uber-baddie. Didn't see her blowing her own brains out.

 

And I think we've gotten confirmation of HRG's not-so-nice intentions based on Haitian's warning to Claire, eh?
