The Haitian must know through his mind stealing that Claire needs to keep her memory in order to save the world. And the Haitian has two powers? Only Sylar can boast that so far.

Maybe he'll absorb the power, but not knowing that he did or how to control it. Then he gets excited or angry and blows up.

And why was Peter all sickly looking while in his cell when he was talking to Claire??

Cuz he knew she was the finest bit of jailbait he'd ever seen, and he was in jail already so... Hmm.. Probably just awkward and he's been half-thinking he's crazy this entire time because of "Firm Jaw" (Nathan's new name, accept it, love it.. no more fly boy or Nathan or Peter's bro.. it's "Firm Jaw" because of Peter's vision).

Now can someone illuminate how Peter's having visions, like Mohinder?

And how Sylar's TK works.. he couldn't pull HRG in thru the glass, but he could to "suggestion girl" (Eden). It was gun first which made me think he has a magnetism thing but he was walled in with metal. And don't say it was because the Haitian wasn't there becuz HRG wouldn't leave Sylar w/o Haitian at ANY time if that was the case. Clearly he has some kind of dampening field though it didn't account for whatever power he used.

And why would Sylar need 'suggestion girl's' power any way? He has freaking MIND CONTROL. He doesn't even need to speak, just thinks about putting the gun in your hand to your head and pulling the trigger.

Could it be that HRG is dying of something like cancer or some unhero like trait and Peter absorbed it when they shook hands and while Claire was around? It would explain why he is so interested in his daughters abilities...

I dunno, do you really think that chickie was forced to put the gun to her head? It seemed to me (and yes, I am a novice Heroes watcher) that she did it, rather blow your brains out than let him get in them and find out a new power...

Yeah, but in another episode, FBI-chick met Sylar, and he did the whole force the gun to the head thing. I don't think he did it to Eden, though.

Yeah, I agree with Yv. I think Eden blew her own brains out to keep Sylar from getting her ability. How else would you explain the disappointed look on his face after she did it?

 

I don't think he has mind control, at all, and that him forcing the gun to FBI's head was more his manipulation of the gun through telekinesis.

Hmm interesting. Really I like the point of why Sylar didn't pull HRG through the glass, and I still say it has to do with his blocking powers ability.

I really don't think HRG has powers.. it kind of takes away from his badness when he has the same power as the Haitian..

It must've been something like, the walls prevented him from using his power, but the metal in the gun was enough that he could TK it through the glass.

And yes, I thought it was a given that Sylar did not blow out her brains, it was her own will.

And I do think he has Mind Control because if you watch the episode, he stops her, and her moving her arm to her head is a smooth movement.. She doesn't resist and she isn't fighting at any time.

Why is it bullets don't do anything to him, but falls from heights do?

I think he killed Magneto and took his power. If the walls were of a metal he can't TK, and HRG has developed a dampening field that can shut down a mutant's powers, then when Eden brought the gun close to the glass, it was close enough that Sylar could pull it towards him.

The only one I'm uncertain of is his first TK, after he took it from the guy with glasses that didn't want the power and was showing Mo's dad. They were mugs. Perhaps stone?

Ok so Heroes is taking a note from Lost and doing it's own experience it seems. If you go the site I put up earlier and apply (it may ask for access code which is MT36), they say they will get back to you. The theory going around is that if you 'apply' for the job, you could be put on the list based on your answers. Interesting....

New cast member for Heroes announced. Sorry not much information as of yet.

 

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Eric Roberts has signed on to join the cast of NBC's hit show, Heroes.

 

Roberts will play the role of Thompson, a new associate of Claire's father H.R.G. (Jack Coleman). There is no word as to when he will first be seen on air.
