My understanding of the TP was that it really isn't "more powerful" than the OP, only more seductive. Meaning that a person who channels the OP would channel about the same amount of TP. (although it's true that this is comparing apples and oranges since the two powers can do different things so it's hard to say one is more "powerful" than the other)
