I was just wondering if there's mention anywhere else in the books or in WOT histories of another initiate to the Tower being raised straight to Accepted in the manner that Nynaeve was?

 

I can't recall any but I'm always finding things I missed first time round in rereads and am sure other people have far better memories!

 

Would just be interesting to see if she's a once off, especially when you throw her inital block into the mix...

According to the Guide book "It normally takes five to ten years of study for a novice to be raised to the next level, that of Accepted. The rule and discipline during this time are very strict. On extremely rare occasions, wilders, women who already know how to channel, are allowed to bypass the novitiate level and move immediately to becoming Accepted, depending on their skills and maturity, but in the entire history of the White Tower this has been done only a handful of times, and it is more than controversial."
