I saw on some thread that many ppl here in DM read alot of the same stuff, particularly "the dark tower" series, which i just finished. . . i saw alot of similarities between the WOT and King series. what do you think?

I haven't read the series yet, so I can't say.

I guess that those that read WoT enjoy reading fantasy so Thats probably why we all end up reading the same. But there are a lot of books out there so it's always good to hear about different writers and books.

DM is the first place outside of my family where I found people who have read the same books I have.

I haven't read that series, however.

No one ion my family reads fantasy let alone WoT, nor any of my friends, except people i have met on here...An old boss used to and gave me a load of books, but that was ages ago!

i stopped after the 4th book for along time( to finnish up on the WoT) but then i read the next 3 in like 2 weeks. I want to re-read the whole Wot series before the last book comes out but i'm kinda dreading it because then my to-read list will be put on hold for 4 months! but i think its something that i will do. .

I started the series and thought it was fantastic, then finished the 4th book and realized I didn't own the rest. dry.gif I'm hoping to start over sometime, I started it YEARS ago.
