welcome to DM battle_chaser! As was already suggested, one of the best ways to meet other people around here is to join a social org. I personally recommend the Band of the Red Hand--mainly because I'm second in command over that way and it's kinda part of my job, and also because it's one of the coolest social orgs in existence *nods firmly* We have lots of music threads and travel type stuff and just general fun. Oh, and my famous extra special chocolate fudge brownies *hands the newbie a plate* Stop on by if you want some more of those ;)

Welcome Battle Chaser!!! I've been reading the books a long time too... must be close to 20 years now. Have you got a favourite character or story arc from the series? Personally Mat and Nynaeve are my favourites :)
